  17. <p>    Cast as the young secret agent Ian Fleming, Jason Connery,
  18. 26, didn't look to his dad for research. Sean Connery -- a
  19. memorable cinematic James Bond -- had known 007's creator only
  20. late in the author's life. Nor could Jason get fatherly advice
  21. in the art of self-defense. In the TV movie, due to air in
  22. February, "I never hold a gun, and the only person I hit is a
  23. Countess," he says. One tradition was upheld: there's a bedroom
  24. scene with British beauty Kristin Scott Thomas. But wait -- all
  25. they do is talk!
